UUID v4 values are random, generated here with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator. Reloading gives you a new set.
A UUID is a 128-bit identifier random enough to use as a database key, a request id or a file name without checking for collisions first.
How to use it
- Choose how many you need, up to 100.
- Switch to uppercase if the system you are pasting into expects it.
- Press Generate, then copy the whole list in one click.
Good to know
- The values come from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, not from a predictable sequence.
- Version 4 UUIDs are random rather than time-based, so nothing about them reveals when they were made.

Frequently asked questions
Can two generated UUIDs be the same?
In theory yes, in practice no: there are about 5×10³⁶ version-4 UUIDs, so a collision is far less likely than a hardware failure.
Are these UUIDs stored anywhere?
No. They are generated in your browser and exist only on the page until you copy them.
